These photos and video clips were taken during the 2006 4th of July Parade.

Village Days

Greendale Village Days is one of the most popular events for residents and visitors. Taking place on the second weekend of August, Village Days offers entertainment, food, shopping, crafts and the charm of historic Greendale.

Check out our photos of past Village Days.

Greendale Hay Days is another popular event held in October. We have some great photos of this fall festival.

Historic Greendale, Wisconsin

The planning and construction of Greendale in the late 1930's included taking many photos showing the different phases of construction and the early residents of the Greendale Original homes.

WPA Artwork

The year was 1938 and federal projects like WPA helped re-build the nation during the depression (and created our Greenbelt Community). Here is an extensive collection of WPA posters by various artists.

The posters were used to advertise public health, travel, plays and other federally funded projects.

Vintage Art Exhibitions

A real wow: Gentlemen's Pin Up Images from the popular men's magazines like Esquire in the late 1930s.

Milwaukee Rail Passes

The Milwaukee Electric Rail & Light Co. weekly passes from 1938.
